Overview

If you have a Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in a computing-based subject or equivalent, you can top-up to a degree with this internationally recognised qualification. This career-focused degree is designed to help you succeed in the workplace by providing you with key skills in building software as well as the most recent theoretical understanding, as well as full coverage of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Foundation Certificate in Software Testing syllabus.

Course description

This course will teach you advanced theoretical concepts as well as practical skills in software development and maintenance. To prepare for a career in the field, you’ll work with cutting-edge technologies and study the most recent professional standards.

This course will teach you application development and software engineering, as well as a related project of your choice. You’ll also be able to specialise in areas of interest, such as artificial intelligence, digital crime, or ethical hacking.

Entry requirements

For direct entry, you must have an incomplete bachelor’s degree or have completed the second year at an Indian university, or a diploma in software engineering or computing/programming related courses from a recognised government institution, or a Diploma Ofqual approved L4 and L5 Diploma in Information Technology.

After a successful interview, learners with non-traditional qualifications and/or relevant experience may be accepted onto the course.
